I think it's the only mountain, so yes, death mountain. [She's a little amused despite herself.] It went alright. No one got hurt or anything. [And she got a sweet crow friend!] There was some kind of monster, like a rotting mannequin. It was lonely and crying and when I hugged it it disappeared and the crow appeared. It's been following me around and leaving me gifts everywhere. Mostly just shiny things it finds, nothing really useful.

Ouse-san found a book in the Mayor's house. Something about a little girl's room? I'm going to be using the book soon to see if I can track the girl down, or if we can figure out something together. I don't know what answers it'll bring but... Hopefully something?

I have now. Trying to follow its trace. It's leading a lot of places, like the presence moved around a lot, but I can't focus in on anything in particular. It leads up onto the mountain too, but we can't get up there still. That's where Sodder's presence is strongest too.

It seems the mountain holds a LOT of answers that we can't get to yet.

That girl has been up there for God knows how long, Kozukata. If I were her I'd want someone to save me, too.

I ain't against help. But no-one has to go up the parts that make you bleed like that if they don't know for sure they can take it.

I didn't say we shouldn't save her. And if I were her, I'd be more upset at people dying or getting hurt trying to save me. I'm sure there's a way to save her that won't involve you torturing yourself to figure anything out.

Just because you can heal doesn't change that. Who's to say the mountain won't have an effect on that too? What if you die?
