[To be honest, he doesn't know what to say. After everything that happened in Vol City, he really didn't know if he could trust to tell civilians what he's been through -
But people here were far from ordinary, were they? The fact that Yuri had been through what she had, and that she had a similar ability to his ... that would be enough, wouldn't it? She already knows that he's had fighting experience against monsters, and she saw the confrontation with Enhou in the glass, and fighting Lago to claim the armor ...]
It's a really long story. You sure you're up for it? [He manages a weak smile.]
[He does follow again when he's being tugged away from the building, though the terrain doesn't seem to be lending much in the way of a suitable spot to sit down. Though the question now was where the hell would he even start. Considering she saw the test to earn his armor, that ... probably would be just as good as any place to start, wouldn't it.]
If it wasn't obvious already ... I'm kinda used to fighting monsters. It's part of my job back home. Been doing it pretty much on my own since I was 17. Trained for ten years before that. The memory at that altar was my "final test" before I left.
[She listens quietly, feeling a little lost. Ten years training? She had maybe a year (or maybe a couple months TIMELINES AREN'T CLEAR GOD DAMN IT) of training in her own powers and that had been hard enough to get used to. She couldn't imagine a strict training schedule or that "final test."
Finally giving up on finding a nicer place to sit, she settles for a place with the least amount of crap laying around, shuffles some debris and things aside until there's a nice circle of more-or-less flat land, and takes a seat there.]
[He flips his coattails out before sitting down, closing his eyes.]
I had to defeat the training companion I had for 10 years in a life-or-death battle. If I could do that and pull out the sword that was sitting at the altar ...
I was worthy enough of the armor that comes with it. [He lifts his sword up - though it doesn't look nearly as elaborate as it did at the altar.]
I made a promise to my mom that I'd help her restore the shine of that armor, be worthy of the title and everything that came with it.
[He does manage a bit of a smirk, but it's tinged with something - regret, perhaps.]
I did it, but ... it was difficult. Even moreso than I could've ever imagined.

She gives his hand a gentle tug] Let's find somewhere to sit and you can tell me everything Or, as much as you're willing to tell.

What was that final test, exactly?
